Product FAQs
How does parchment paper help with baking cookies and many other foods?
Parchment paper is a natural, high density paper with a non-stick coating. Lining your pan with parchment means that baked goods slide off without sticking (and you don’t need to use grease or spray). Using parchment paper also means that cookies bake more evenly, and with less cracks or crumbling. Clean up is a lot easier, and so is transfer from pan to cooling sheet (just slide the paper over).
Is parchment paper safe for oven use?
Yes. The special “parchmentizing process” means that Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper is oven safe at temperatures of up to 420°F. We recommend that you preheat the oven first. Never touch the parchment paper to open flame or the sides of the oven and do not use with a broiling unit or toaster oven.
What is the difference between Cookie Baking Sheets and Parchment Rolls?
Both are made from parchment paper. However, Reynolds Kitchens® Cookie Baking Sheets are pre-cut, and sized perfectly for a standard 12”x16” baking sheet. On the other hand, Reynolds Kitchens® Parchment Paper Rolls can be cut to any size you wish, making them suitable for a wide variety of baking projects. Our Cookie Baking Sheets also come out of the box flat, which means you won’t have to worry about curling or rolling after placing one on a cookie pan.
