COMBINE all dry seasonings and ingredients in a bowl and mix.
RUB the dry seasoning mixture on all sides of the brisket, cover with foil and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
PREHEAT the oven to 300°.
COOK the onions in a large sauté pan on medium heat in 1 tablespoon of butter until they are brown (30 to 35 minutes).
PLACE the rubbed Brisket into a Reynolds Kitchens® Roaster pan, cover with Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil and cook in the oven for about 3 hours.
TURN the oven temperature up to 325°, remove the foil and cook for 1 hour.
POUR 1 1/2 cups of BBQ sauce all over the brisket once they are done cooking and slice thin against the grain of the beef.
SERVE the brisket with the remaining 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, a tablespoon of caramelized onions on a bun.
