Peppermint Candy Cane Brownies
The holiday season is all about putting a festive spin on your favorite recipes. Add some crushed up peppermint candy canes to our standard brownie recipe, and you'll have a Christmas treat that everyone can enjoy.

PREHEAT the oven to 350°.
ADD the butter and chocolate chips to a medium sized metal bowl and put it over a pot of simmering water to create a double boiler. Continually stir with a rubber spatula.
WHISK together in a separate large bowl the eggs, brown sugar, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, vanilla and baking powder.
COOL the chocolate at room temperature for 10 minutes and then fold it into the eggs and sugar mixture until completely combined.
POUR the batter into a Reynolds® Bakeware 8x8 Pan and bake in the oven on 350° for 35 minutes or until the brownies begin to pull away from the outside of the pan.
ADD the chopped candy canes to the top of the brownies with 10 minutes left in the cooking process.
COOL before serving.
